ABSTRACT
Regenerative agriculture has emerged as a transformative approach to restoring soil health, enhancing biodiversity, improving water conservation, and mitigating climate change while ensuring sustainable agricultural productivity. This review examines the current status of regenerative farming practices, including conservation tillage, cover cropping, crop diversification, agroforestry, integrated livestock systems, and organic soil management. It highlights key challenges such as limited farmer awareness, economic constraints, policy gaps, and region-specific adaptation issues that hinder widespread adoption. The paper also explores future prospects through technological innovations, supportive policies, carbon farming incentives, and climate-smart practices, emphasizing regenerative agriculture as a resilient pathway toward sustainable farming systems, food security, and environmental sustainability.
